Personal injury specialists Scott Rees & Co Solicitors has undergone a major recruitment drive and welcomed 9 new members of staff.

The new members of staff have joined the Lancashire firm with diverse backgrounds in the insurance industry and legal profession.

They have been recruited to perform in all areas of the business and include solicitors, claims handlers and legal executives.

The new members of staff are:

Greg Bannister: Team Leader & Senior Litigation Executive

Greg, 37, from Westhoughton, Bolton, formerly of NIG, has 18 years experience in the insurance industry.

Peter Bland: Costs Negotiator

Peter, 24, from Mawdesley, Lancashire, formerly of costs draughting firm Calculus, has five years experience in costs.

Suzanne Chapman: Legal Executive

Suzanne, 26, from Burnley, joins the firm from Pollard Bower Solicitors in Burnley, and has nine years experience in the PI sector.

Claire Cushley: Claims Administrator

Claire, 23, previously worked for GML Solicitors in Liverpool. She has five years experience in the personal injury sector.

Gareth Deary: Senior Litigation Executive

Gareth, of Liverpool, previously worked for Keith Levin & Co Solicitors. He has more than nine years experience in dealing with road traffic accident claims as well as employer and public liability claims.

Stephen Hewitt: Claims Handler

Stephen, 37, originally from Barrow-in-Furness, but now living in Ellesmere Port, joins the firm from Irvings Solicitors in Liverpool, where he completed his legal training.

Simon Horrocks: Senior Litigation Executive

Simon, 30, from Barrowford, Lancashire, has joined the firm from RBS Insurance and has 12 years experience in the personal injury sector.

Catherine Lloyd-Jones: Solicitor

Catherine, 28, from Ramsbottom, Lancashire, previously worked for Pattersons Solicitors in Bolton.  She has three years experience in the PI sector, including public, employer and owner liability.

Rachel Murray: Senior Litigation Executive

Rachel, from St Helens, joins the firm from John Callaghan Solicitors in Liverpool. She has more than 24 years experience in dealing with road traffic accident claims, employer and public liability claims.
